HOT Melanie B angol énekesnő debütáló albuma, amelyet 2000. október 9-én adott ki a Virgin. Az énekesnő a Spice Girls nevű bandája szünetében készült, de 1999-ben kezdte el szólólemezének rögzítését. Az „I Want You Back” után szólómunkáját tovább vitte a kortárs R&B műfajba, 1998-ban a rapperrel, Missy Elliott-tal együttműködve Melanie B számos amerikai zenészrel konzultált, hogy együtt dolgozhasson Freley-vel és Siley-vel. I WANT YOU BACK Melanie B brit énekesnő debütáló szóló kislemeze, Missy Elliott amerikai rapperrel. Az 1998-as Why Do Fools Fall in Love című film filmzenéjének kislemezeként jelent meg. Két év után a dal Melanie B debütáló albumára, a Hot-ra (2000) is felkerült. Az „I Want You Back” 1998. szeptember 20-án az Egyesült Királyság kislemezlistájának élére került.
Melanie B így emlékezett vissza: "Ez volt az első alkalom, hogy arra gondoltam, hogy egyedül csinálok valamit.
